 If you are traveling by car,
drive north on Highway 19 from Victoria or Vancouver to Port
McNeill, a
scenic drive on a modern highway. Fort Rupert, home
of the Copper Maker Gallery, is about 20 miles north of Port
McNeill, just south of Port Hardy. Take the Airport
turn-off and follow the directions below.
There are several ferry services running
from Vancouver, Seattle and the Gulf Islands. Check the BC Ferries
site for schedules and notices for the mainland ferry runs.
Port Hardy is the closest Commercial Airport
providing flights to Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and many
coastal communities. Air Carriers include Pacific Coastal Airlines
and Canadian Air.
